The Dewy Bride Look?

I was sucked into QVC and they showed this Gossamer All-Over Body and Body Buki Brush kit
and I'm thinking wouldn't this be a good purchase for a bride?  I'm all about the flawless body and face on my wedding day.

Tuxes

First, I want to say thank you to all the people who actually read this blog, I had no idea anyone read it!  Does anyone know how I can actually add my blog list to the side bar of my blog page?  So that everyone who reads my blog can also click on the links of the other blogs if they want (it's how I've found most of the blogs I read).

Okay, on to the tux!
Here is the tux I've chosen for the men:

It's from Men's Wearhouse.  Ralph Lauren, 3 button.  Does the amount of buttons mean anything other than the amount of buttons?  ha.  If that makes sense!  I was going to leave the choosing to my fiance, but I realized if I leave it to him, it won't happen until last minute, so I chose and he agreed.

And below are the 2 vest/tie options until I can decide on a bridesmaid dress color.  My first choice is the pink or as they call it "Tuscany Watermelon."  The fiance also likes this, which is surprising because when I first said pink, he was appalled!  haha.  But, I think if the girls carry pink flowers to match and I wear pink shoes, it'll all come together quite nicely!  Speaking of shoes, anyone know of any cute, kitten heeled shoes that either can be dyed or are already pink?  Thanks!

Bridesmaid dresses chosen!

My bridesmaids, my mother and I all went out to look for dresses today.  I really needed to finalize what they'd be wearing so I could decide about the flowers and the rest of the color scheme.  I had intended for them to wear gunmetal grey, but the dresses they ended up liking were a different material so they came in silver not, gunmetal and once I saw what "silver" really looked like, I wasn't loving it!  In fact, none of the colors were that great, so it's between black and coffee.  Of course, they had NO coffee colored dresses in the store, so I'm waiting for swatches in the mail.  The girls chose 2 dresses.  The one is my favorite and the other one is okay, I don't love it, but a couple of the girls did and really I want them to be comfortable.

So, three girls will be wearing this dress:

And two will be wearing this dress:

And oddly, they actually kinda go together, even though they're two totally different dresses.

Now my concern is, if the girls wear black dresses can the guys wear black tuxes or will that be too much black?

I also made an appointment to try my dress on February 9!  I'm kinda freaked about it, what if it doesn't fit!

Guilt

My dress has already come in and I refuse to go try it on.  I'm supposed to be eating better and exercising more.  But tonight I ate Chick Fil a (I did add a side salad to it)!  It's like my drug of choice, I swear!  And now I'm feeling guilty.  I mean, it's not like my wedding is in a month, but still its fast approaching!  I need to lose like 10-15 lbs. for real.  I didn't even ride my spinner bike tonight.  I should go to bed now so I can drag myself out of bed at 6 tomorrow to ride my bike before work!  I hope I can get it together soon, I'm afraid I'm not going to get it til it's too late and I look gross in my wedding dress and even more gross on my honeymoon!

Ugh.

Our Save the Dates

It took me a little longer than expected, but the Save the Dates have been mailed!

Here it is:

Our puppy Wiley!

We did the photo booth strip magnet since we got engaged in a photo booth!  I think he looks like a total goofball, but he's a adorable!  I'm sad that he can't come to the wedding.

Now my mom won't stop bugging me about the invitations!  The work is never done, is it?

Honeymoons

The wedding is about 10 months away, so I figure it's time to start planning the honeymoon part of the wedding.  Initially, I was going to plan this all myself, but a few people pointed out that I'd be better off letting a travel agent do it.  So, my friend Erin (who just got married this October) recommended her agent and I emailed her this criteria- it needs to be warm, around $3,000 for 7 nights w/ air for two and we'd prefer all inclusive, oh and I'd like a pool/hot tub in our room!  I thought we'd end up going to a Sandals, but apparently October is HURRICANE SEASON so the TA suggested Aruba.  I'm not entirely opposed to Aruba, but there's nothing about it that wows me.  We're supposed to get some brochures in the mail, so maybe my mind will change.  I also suggested Greece or maybe South America?  But, Greece shares the same seasons as us, so in October it'll be pretty cold and S. America is opposite us, so it'll be kinda like Spring or maybe even colder.  So, I'm not doing too well!  Bradley has never been out of the country so he's up for anywhere, but I kinda would like to go somewhere more original, if that makes sense?  My desire to have things different than everyone else all the time really makes for difficulty when decisions need to be made.  And I bet after all this will just end up going to Aruba!
Does anyone have any ideas?

I swear I'll be better

It's 2009 and I'm going to be a better bride, I swear!  I'll admit it, I've pretty much been a lame bride and an even worse bride blogger, but that will change.  Our Save the Dates came in yesterday.  I'll post them tomorrow (our printer needs ink, so apparently that also means it can't scan either!)  I also ordered return address labels for the Save the Dates with just our address, since we don't share the same last name yet.  I plan to get a stamp made for the Thank You cards once we're married.
I just spent like 4 hours looking at wedding stuff online and trying to research honeymoon options and I feel like I've accomplished nothing!  Weddings really can suck away your time.

Does anyone have any honeymoon suggestions?  I'm really liking the balcony jacuzzi at Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa and it's actually not that expensive.  I mean, I wouldn't say it was cheap, but it's maybe doable!

Ok, I need to go make my lunch and shower.  Night!
